The first thing you will want to do is copy your important data off of you defective system onto another type of media.
We recommend using a USB key memory stick thumb drive or what ever its called where you are.
To recover the data using this method, all you need to do is boot up the cd as described above and literally plug in the USB once you see the graphical user interface. When you plug this key in it will appear on the desktop, much like windows. All you need to do is to drag and drop the files you need from the source hard disk, to your USB key.
